We thank all of you who have helped make the Carleton County Historical Society the success it has become since it’s incorporation in 1960 through the restoration of the Old Carleton County Courthouse and the upcoming Connell House restoration.
There is tremendous interest in the Connell House restoration. The building archaeology is now complete and our application for federal funding has been approved. Your support is needed: By renewing your annual membership, joining as a new member, encouraging new members to join us, or donating time and money, you can share in the satisfaction of seeing us achieve our long-range goals.

There are many ways to show your support without being a member. Donations are tax deductible. Bequests are tax deductible. Attend our Public Functions. Rent our facilities for your own functions. |
Volunteers who are willing and able to assist with Fundraising; Event Planning; Archival Collections/Research; Artefact Collections/Research; Refreshments Committee; Connell House Garden, or Tour Guides/Docents, are needed and welcome.
Donations of period furniture (1830 – 1860) are particularly needed to complete the restoration of Connell House.
